Usage data: We collect basic usage information such as pages visited and features used to improve the Service.

User preferences: Session settings, age ranges, content preferences, and other configuration data are stored locally on your device using browser localStorage.

Chat content: Messages you send to the AI assistant are processed in real time to generate responses. We do not permanently store chat transcripts on our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

anchorED uses the following third-party services to operate:

Anthropic (Claude API): Processes chat messages to generate AI responses. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
Netlify: Hosts the application and runs server functions. Subject to Netlify's privacy policy.
Google Cloud: Provides text-to-speech services for voice features.

We may also integrate with social media platforms (such as TikTok) for content distribution. These integrations do not share your personal anchorED data with those platforms.

5. Data Storage

Most user data is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain a centralized database of user chat histories or session plans. Server-side data is limited to authentication and account management.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information only when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

7. Children's Privacy

anchorED is designed for use by adult professionals working with youth. The Service is not intended for direct use by children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Service, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. Since most data is stored locally on your device, you can clear it by clearing your browser's localStorage for the anchorED domain.
